Kentucky just isn’t good enough to beat duke this year. Duke is controlling the game and Flagg ain’t even in.

When Kentucky went up by 7 the refs stepped in to disrupt Kentucky's flow by making a bunch of calls.

A game like this against a team like Duke allows you to see some player and team limitations that maybe weren’t so obvious. Cats might have more of those than I thought. But they are fighting.

Give credit to the Duke big's, knocking down the 3. Right now we have no one who can just back it up to the basket.
We are, the problem is the refs are allowing Duke to play football with no calls. That ruins momentum and flow. It changes your mental. It can be challenging to over come.
Butler and Robinson cannot sit this game out. They have to start giving us something.

If Robinson is our best player, we simply aren’t going to be great. That’s about as simple as it gets.
This is why you still need guys in the top50, and even a few in the top25 if you can do it.
Even if we say that Duke is looking like the best team in the nation (I'd say that could be true), this UK team, as built, will have trouble to break through against similarly talented teams.
Said it earlier, we look like some of the mid majors/low P5 teams that UK would just dominate in the mid 2010s.

sorry, it’s just looking like athleticism is not equal right now. And we aren’t getting the shots we thought we’d get considering Duke guys can close out much quicker than we have seen so far.
And the defense we thought we’d see - not there. Forced zero turnovers and fouling to try to keep up.

There are a lot of opportunities for the refs to make calls against Duke and they are not doing it.
The main problem I see with this team right now is that they are undisciplined. They are rattled and falling back on bad habits that they could get away with in podukia conference or whatever.
