Felt like UK was due for that halftime result after the way they’ve played lately. Ignore final scores, they haven’t played very well.
Let’s see if they have a comeback in them.

Regardless of the outcome, this is a good basketball team. Adjustments will be made. No more continuing to do the same things and expecting different results. Popes still learning about some of these guys. Gonna be a fun year.
One thing though.. this team IS still new, and I think even Pope is learning who works with who, and which guys need to start.
This is really far from a finished product.
And if Pope can pull out this win with 2nd half adjustments.. we will have something very special with him, because our players really look like the lesser P5/mid major types out there.

We've missed enough free throws and inside shots to be up double figures!! I'm not one to complain about the officials, but these guys suck!!
Gonna disagree , tonight Clemson is way more physical.. I mean 1 player has 13 rebounds .. at the half . And Dukes big got in foul trouble — that helped a bunch
If they don’t both pick up their 3rd before the first TV timeout then the second half will be called fairly and we will most likely win.
This. We just need to find a way to pull this out. 0-2 would NOT be a great way to go into SEC Play coming up.

Add Florida, they are not bad either. Auburn & TN plays in your jock defense. I have not seen Ole Miss or Bama play. I watched a little of the game before ours and saw some decent basketball.
SEC is up 5-0, the other 4 games in progress has SEC teams winning. I really hope we don't go 9-1 with us being the 1 loss. That would really suck.
I don’t think you’re giving Clemson enough credit. UK players might have gone into this game with the same idea.

One of them is Roger Ayers. We are 13-12 when he refs our games. And Butler got called for being near his man in under 1 minute. Predictable.
If UK loses tonight, it will be a good thing. I don't think coming back helps us beat Gonzaga Saturday, but a loss would serve as a great learning lesson for this team.
