Cats and Hogs rained out on Thursday, 1st game of the series tonight, and a DH on Saturday. Cats look to win an Sec series for 5th time in 6 tries.

Despite their 4 and 13 record, the Hawgs are a dangerous team. I just hope they do not find their groove this has weekend at the Cliff !

I believe Arky went to Omaha last year, they have a very good program. They have struggled lately, but did beat a decent Creighton team Wednesday.

Three groundball outs... Arkansas is not just going to lay down. They better get more focused at the plate.

Looks like we'll have to see at least the second time around before much happens. We aren't taking many pitches either.

Missed a chance to tie the game, Mahan should have scored with his speed. Was Storm Wilson not available tonight, he has been hitting well of late.
I feel bad for Zack Brown, he deserved better, offense is bad right now, Shelby is horrible, Marshall with 3 hits, where has he been ?

Jeez o mighty, we give up 1 frickin run in 10 innings and LOSE ? Poor Zack Brown, pitched his arse off. We cannot get timely hits to save our lives. Arkansas wins a road game for the 1st time all year.

Lost 6 of 7 now and I think ths team is quickly turning into the team several of us thought it would be early in the season and is start in to look like the typical GH coached team and folding at mid season

This is the first game that the Arkansas starter didn't give up a run. Of all the Friday starters that we have faced so far I would wager that he is by far the worst. Before today he had pitched 42 innings and struck out 36 hitters. We added 10 to both of those. That is just mind-numbingly bad. This guy hadn't gone more than 3.2 innings pitching in SEC play. Yet, we allow him to pitch 10 innings while we struck out ten damn times. We didn't draw a single f-ing walk in 10 f-ing innings. I can't tell you how pissed off this makes me.

At this point Shelby needs to be taken out of the lineup. It pains me to say it, but the guy is hitting .213 and in league play is hitting an unbelievably bad .159. At this point it isn't just a slump... he needs some time off to get his head right. Tyler Marshall should probably be playing over at third. Marcus Carson had a great play at Louisville, but the guy is hitting .095 in league play. He has played in 11 games in league play and has a whopping 2 hits. Stop playing him.

It feels odd to say this, but Cottam and Squires are two of the better hitters in league play. Might as well do everything we can to get them both in the game. At this point I think Henderson has to get creative. We have too many guys that aren't being productive. Mahan is hitting .212 in league play and Wilson is hitting .211. I don't know exactly what to do, but we can't have a lineup where 4 of our 9 starting hitters are hitting under .215. Something has to change. It is asinine.

I would suggest a better hitting instructor, our hitters seem to lack aggression and have no plan at the plate. You have to understand the opposing pitcher's plan, his pitches and attack any pitches up. You can move up in the batter's box to better hit curve balls, etc. Ky took way too many strikes especially with two strike count. They also seemed to not try to steal second and get in scoring position.

In our last 7 Sec games our pitchers have allowed only 13 runs, 6 by Bama, 6 by Vandy, and only 1 by Arkansas, our record is 3-4 in those games. I agree Shelby needs to sit before he loses all confidence in himself.
How does Tyler Marshall go some 15-20 games without seeing the field, he can field and seems to hit pretty well.

Pathetic loss. No timely hitting, as usual. Shelby and Hairston striking out to a guy who has thrown 125 pitches was just horrible.

Pitiful performance at the plate last night. UK better get it figure out soon.

Our freaking lineups make zero sense. One day Reks is hitting 4th and the next he's hitting 2nd. How does that make any sense?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought if you were the Thursday game that you were the featured game that weekend and that all of your games were on tv? I believe it was that way in the past, but for us none of our games have been on the SEC network (Thursday because cancelled and this afternoon we're losing out to old clips of Gruden's quarterback camp.

I would suggest a new head coach... this has been 8 damn years of this BS and it is PAST due for a change. We are "supposedly" getting ready to build a new stadium and I'm like MB said at his spring game interview until they put a shovel in the ground I don't believe it. GH needs we be replaced and scour the country for the best guy possible...I would not be at all surprised if the team dosen't end up not making the tournament again...like cbk3 I am pissed and it is time for changes to be made!!
