Kentucky vs Arkansas (Saturday)

Cats score 2 in top of the second but Arkansas goes up on a solo home run. Cotto gets a strikeout then immediately is replaced on the mound by Ryan Hagenow. Not sure what that’s about.

Stupid move, but you can't be shocked anymore with this coaching staff.

Also, another error costs UK a run. Round and round we go. Rinse. Repeat.

Damn that is sad……prayers to him and his family.

So first I hear the Anu injury news yesterday by these Arkansas broadcasters and then today the M. May news, why am I getting more UK news from Arkansas and not from UK?

Pitching change, Hagenow not happy with home plate ump. Barking pretty good in his direction walking off. Can’t say I blame him.

Because Kentucky doesn’t give a damn about anything except their precious basketball team.

Both of their starting pitchers have gone into the 6th inning. This guy has only thrown 77 pitches. Sure would be nice if we got some starting pitching every once in a while

Well that was something. Kentucky loses 9-3. Just hope we can get out of Arkansas without a sweep.

Just an absolute pathetic showing tonight.

I don't think it's time to start worrying yet. Arkansas is a ridiculously good team. I think if we can pull off a win today and keep from getting swept then we've accomplished what was needed this weekend. It would have been nice to have played a clean game Friday and see what would have happened but it didn't happen and I think if we can come away with a win and not get swept by the number 3 team in the country we have done all right.

It really seems like anything can happen in the SEC this year.

Agree….. a sweep sure does look likely though unfortunately.

Don't know. Bosma pitched well against TCU. Excited to see what happens here. Weather is nice, I'm hoping they can't keep our bats down for three games in a row. Hopefully our guys are used to the natural grass now that they played a couple games on it and we'll make a bunch of plays in the field
