That’s why I always laughed this summer when people expected him to be one of our leading scorers and a great player solely because he shot a good percentage. The dude never started nor did he ever average double digits for a reason. Hes not that good.

Absolutely right. Just sucks the life out of EVERYTHING. The inability to beat mediocre and bad teams is just crazy.
I know he's in his first year, but his game-time coaching doesn't impress me often. Might be the medical schooling where scientists sit back, look at lots of data and THEN make decisions. Would explain his pretty consistent half-time adjustments.

Tonight, Arkansas is just better. Based on what has transpired already, I don’t see us coming back in this game. Cal will have the last laugh, and I hate it.

I asked this earlier in the season but what are the odds in a couple seasons we’re calling for Pope to hire a defensive coordinator like we used to Want Cal to hire an offensive coordinator.
Give credit to Arkansas they played well. Some of the lineups and subs were questionable. Taking out Williams and chandler when were cut it 7 or so was a massive mistake. This is the type of game where they just have to close it out
I don't think John Calipari ever imagined his guys would hit 13 threes. That's the story of the game. It totally blew up our game plan. That being said, I would have liked to see in a triangle and two and guard Davis and big z.
