This defense sure wasn't ready for the RPO. Cunningham is going to destroy them. Also with the pace these 2 teams play, there won't be many possessions, so they better fricken figure it out fast.

We’ve always struggled against running QBs.
Stoop's game plan is to win 15-14 on five field goal with the last one coming with no time left on the clock.
Nope, because we will be fired up to play #1.
This game, we will sleep walk and win by a FG.
Defense looks completely lost. This QB is a runner first and we don't seem to have scouted him. Do our coaches look at film to prepare? Obviously weren't ready for TN's pace and now lowly Vandy looks like they are gonna give us a helluva lot of trouble all game long. Cannot figure out why we seem so ill-prepared for what the opponent is most likely to do.
Hated to read other QB was out and we got Wright

If this is the Kentucky we see next Saturday, I hate saying it, but it'll be over in the first quarter. It is what it is.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Vandy beats us by playing “Kentucky football”.
Backup athletic QB that forces them to run more option football… and boom they suddenly have a power run game and clock control. Option football isn’t flashy and high scoring typically but it’s extremely effective, even more so when you have legit talent to run it too and not just a military academy.
There is a reason we were able to hold teams to such low scores for multiple years even in the losing end of UGA etc. ball control is your best defense. The best way to do that is a power run option heavy game

You can’t blame this all on the defense. The offense issues will affect the defense.
