I’m not looking forward to the UofL loss.
Moving on from him to who/what? Why would a good coach want to come to Kentucky? Let him stay as long as he wants if he is willing to take a salary cut. UK isn't likely to ever become an upper tier SEC team because UK will never spend the money on the program that is needed. As Cal stated, THIS IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL! ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!!
This one may, recruiting already sucked and this season isn't going to help. The problem is who are you going to get other than Stoops.

I wanted to go to this game. Didn't work, so I tried looking at UofL tickets. I think I'll pass now, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can get in for $10-15 per ticket.

Hell, Cal's last two seasons have had bigger embarrassments than Stoops!! As Cal stated, this is a basketball school and we have been totally embarrassed the last two seasons. At least the football world knows of Vandy's existence, unlike the team Cal lost to at the end of the season which most basketball fans knew little to nothing about.

If the O-line was able to open up a hole for a 72 yard TD, it should have been performing better throughout the game. Also, I just don't understand why 24 kept taking himself out of the game, especially on the second 2 point conversion try.
The bidding war between Iowa and Auburn had to be distracting to our players. I heard Stoops is trying to get 80 million over 5 years guarenteed. Add in the weather and a hungry Vandy team and us looking ahead to the 'dogs and this upset was easy to foresee.
Re the D, that's true. This loss is on the D IMO, very passive game plan and no real pressure on the QB. Get a game winning INT...not so fast, dumb ass penality. 4th and Richmond and the sub CB gets lost and gives up a 40 yarder...game winning drive. Total system failure.
And after we fire Stoops’ ass, for the love of all that is holy, quit playing that lame ass wildcat roar. ESPECIALLY WHEN TRAILING TO VANDY!!!
Either Brad White had a bad game plan for Mike Wright, I doubt that was the case, or guys blew their responsibilities on their rush lanes (Weaver). The offense didn't look pretty by a long shot but that should have been enough points to win against Vandy. This late in the season and to allow Wright to extend drives and score with his legs like that is just awful defense. Richardson is a much more talented runner and he didn't run all over us like that. I think the defense got a little full of themselves for this game.
Bowl???? Georgia will beat this team by 50+ and Louisville will beat them by AT LEAST 4 td's . I don't see any bowl inviting a 6 win team with a three game losing streak and a disengaged fan base to their event.
Without a doubt there is no excuse for Stoops and I am not trying to give him one. I am very upset with any and everything UK football at the moment. I don't believe the players gave their best. I didn't see any real player leadership on the field. It seemed like every player and coach were ok with getting their butts handed to them in the most embarrassing way.

It seems like the program's attitude changed once they were out of the running for the SEC East. When I played, there were always guys on the team who policed player effort.
Irony, a loss to Vandy on a miserable cold day is what got Stoops this job....
Now it may be what cost him this job....circle of life . But who are we kidding? Mitch doesn't have the sack to fire Stoops...he embraces mediocrity like no other AD in the country . But damn, look how good UKs non gendered competitive pinball team is since Barnharts arrival 🙄
