The 2pt conversion play calls have been absolutely brilliant today!!
Going for 2 is stupid. 22+3 is 25

So on the 2 point conversion, why are we running someone not named Rodriguez?
Why would we go for 2 there? We still are up 5, all this gives us is 6. A TD beats us regardless. Missing their PAT isn’t likely. Just kick it and rely on the defense.
Remember, with UK football, the game isn't over until the clock reads 00:00 and the refs are off the field.

My OCD is feeling much better though with a 21-17 score. I shouldn’t have to be nervous for a game vs. Vandy. Couldn’t even find my lil pecker.

Was going for 2 the right call there? An XP makes it to where a 2 pt. conversion is needed just to put them up a field goal in the event of a follow up Vanderbilt touchdown, and it completely removes the possibility of going up by more than a field goal.

it does no good even if you get it to go up 6 Beckie if they score you still need a field goal to win anyway.
if you just kick the extra point you frt the same result as above.
BUT if you don’t get any points it’s the only way you leave open the scenario of them scoring you kicking a field goal and STILL not able to win in regulation.

I have tried not to be critical of this team's coaching, but not having 24 in the game for the 2 point conversion was simply stupid.
and Dick Scan needs his likeness in every urinal in Commonwealth...
I agree with going for 2. Just not that play. Get the 2 and force them to have to make the extra point to beat us. With 1 point they win with a touchdown.
Math is hard. Harder when you're the HC at UK.
