Listen to Vince Marrow on KSR last week. He didn't care about media at SEC media days voting us 2nd in East. He focused & talked about SEC Mike picking us 5th.

That is crazy we have never been ranked since 78 but congrats to the team. The target is on the back ranked so better bring it up from the start.

And with Marrow being ranked in the 30s regarding the top recruiters in college, this is an excellent precedent for a school that now has a chance to back up the optimism around the team.

Listed as a Top 6 SEC school sure doesn't hurt either. I didn't see the upcoming Vols ranked; did I miss that? So much for all the offseason hype there.

I think we could be anwhere from 13 to where we are. I've seen 3 teams ranked ahead of us that I'd love to get even money on.
