This totally isn’t a personal criticism of Calipari’s job btw. The Representative doesn’t even like college sports and focuses more on the Pro’s(yeah ok….) It also doesn’t retroactively void contracts like Cal’s but instead prevents contracts like them in the future, so it won’t save those who hope it’s passed for this reason.

The rep also mentioned Calipari (not by name) as the "primary mptivation" for the bill. But later states it isn't about Cal. But he's TOTALLY not into college sports.

The ambassador position is only until 2029 too. It was dumb for them to call a 10 year deal a lifetime contract.
