Kentucky has the ninth hardest remaining schedule nationally, but eighth toughest in the SEC (Haslam).

FWIW, Kenpom has us going 3-6 from here on out
Sounds about right.

18-13, 7-11 going into the SEC tourney. With all the Q1 wins we’ve racked up already and playing in the toughest league in the history of college basketball, we should still make the Dance.

Hopefully we finish a little better, though.

If we play like we should, like a desperate team needing wins, we should beat SCAR, Vandy, and LSU plus we have shown we can win on the road, so maybe we get a win at Tex or OU.

This team has to fight. They have to have that “us against the world” mentality. They show up lethargic and they will get eaten alive in our remaining games.

We can’t have anymore halves like we did to start the Ole Miss game.

For some reason 19-12 just seems so much better than 18-13. 18-13 just looks like a ugly record for some reason

So, do people think this will be the new norm for SEC bball (or go for a few years) or was this a perfect storm type scenario?

At one point, my thinking was "We'll be lucky to win half our sec games...."

Now its like, "I dunno if we can do it now."

Wonder if Pope could snag players from the sec, that aren't happy with coaching/playing time/etc....?

We've gotten a taste of guys from other conferences, doing some what decent....but its different in the sec.
