Kentucky- Georgetown game thread

Heck guys i did not turn back on and was watching Poltergeist at half. Was watching here and thought i would turn back on. I figured we were still either up by 3 or down the way you guys are talking about the team. Did not expect to be up by 14 or so. Not sure why all the hate tonight on an exhibition game but to each their own. Maybe we should get billy G back with his awesome recruiting and play calling, no wait Eddie Sutton, or you know lets go for someone else. Heck bring in Beard with all his issues. I am going to just stay away from the board on game night. I swear we could play like Rick P days and you all would hate on this team and CAL. I do not like Cal but I do not go out of the way to hate on the guy all night game night.

I stayed out of the game thread during the half... but what are some of you thinking?? FFS. You thought an incomplete, young Cal coached team was gonna run Georgetown out of the gym in their first 20 min of basketball?? I mean, it wasn't pretty. But I'm not sure why so many are surprised or melting down. It'll be alright folks. I saw a pretty good squad that just isn't ready yet out of the gate. It'll be ok.

How many years now have you been saying that? Doesn't it get exhausting?

That was a point of emphasis like 10 years ago to just combine the breaks if the stoppage was close to under 16, 12, 8 but they realized they’d lose money so that stopped

Slight change this year...If a timeout or a dead ball comes within 30 seconds of media timeout, that then necomes the media timeout.

12:05 – Team calls a timeout or officials stop game for instant replay Charged timeout except for instant replay; becomes the 12-minute media timeou
11:59 – Dead ball occurs after team took a timeout from 12:30-12:00 Not a media timeout

Team calls timeout at 16;45----that becomes a full timeout/media.
