Maybe we should hire Craig Yeast as WR coach? He's never made it past the second round of the KHSAA playoffs as a head coach, but he's a former player, so that's good enough for some people.

So what? Last couple of years they've had guys from USC, TN, GA, Bama, Ohio St and outside of Pop they've accomplished zero. Players from smaller schools can be good players. Was watching Toledo a couple weeks ago and a 6'7" 300 OT, redshirt freshman, pancaked his man at the LOS, got up and sprinted 25 yds downfield and flat backed a DB. UK hasn't had such hustle from an OL in a decade.

I’m amazed at how many fans are analyzing what needs to be done. We’ve seen this coaching staff ruin potential top 10 draft picks, five star recruits, transfers from championship contenders, etc. I’m not sure who else is out there that they think would help us.

Maybe Vandy and Mississippi State have a few guys who aren’t good enough for their program that we could reel in!

You may be right but along the same line, there is no evidence we will get a talent upgrade. After 12 years under Stoops, we find ourselves this unwanted state of dysfunction. If he knew what he was doing, we would be replacing lesser players with better players in the portal and retaining our best players. That is not happening. The portal candidates are from lesser conferences which usually, on average, are less talented players, for a reason. We can't compete in this conference with these coaches and a declining talent pool. For the sake of sanity, it's best to relax, hope that Stoops doesn't damage the program too much more and wait for way to dump this clown and hire a relevant and talented HEAD COACH. JMO.

good idea, but what talented coach would come to UK and have to compete in the SEC.
as great as it would be, UK just can not match the $ some of these "football" schools have to dish out

UK was the doormat when stoops got here. This season they have almost got back there. He has taken UK to a height they hadn’t been in decades then lead them back towards the bottom. Basically every player that left I wish the best but they needed to be gone to change the atmosphere of this program. They lost some that will hurt but there needed a lot of fat trimmed. At this point I don’t see stoops turning it back around, but we have him for another year.

There is no evidence of anything right now....the portal literally opened today and there are still a ton of guys to go in it. Where do you get that the portal candidates are from lesser conferences? This past year was our first year that I feel we missed badly in the portal. Prior to tat, we've done a pretty good job in the portal. None of us know anything right now about how this roster will turn out.

People thought the recruiting class would fall apart....it didn't. How about we wait until this plays itself out before we start making statements that have yet to be answered.

What are you talking about? They have taken UGA, Bama, OSU, etc’s rejects and how many panned out. They aren’t bringing in the top echelon guys like we would like, especially after the season they just had.

Again I get being negative but I’m not judung the portal players till I see them. And to be honest I’d rather have guys with proven production form lesser conferences the rejects from Ohio state. Players from those conferences get drafted every year
