UK doesn’t deserve votes the way they played. This team hasn’t figured out wearing a UK Jersey doesn’t make them a OAD, putting in hard work and talent does. When they decide to put in work and get rid of the me mentality then maybe they’ll get some votes. I don’t want Cal gone but I’m all for accountability on this one. I have been a big fan of Cals and glad he helps kids dreams come true and make it to the NBA but he isn’t paid to do that, he’s paid millions to win games for UK.

My question with Clarke is can he handle the ball well enough to handle the pg position when he is faced with another pg who has good defense ?

Y'all might want to stop trying to find a replacement for Askew at pg. Cal is going to keep wheeling him out there and honestly, he should. None of the other guys have a pg mentality. Clarke wants to fire up shots as soon as he feels leather and Mintz is an obvious 2.

Might as well stay with Askew at this point and ride it out. Maybe Cal can get him to be serviceable by February.

Nothing to see here. Polls don’t matter in December. Just wait till Camp Cal. Things will be better. March is all that matters.

You're wrong. If a player is thinking through everything they're doing then it's going to look like they're not giving maximum effort. Ask any coach in HS or beyond. Proof, none of the fans on here that watch recruiting videos, go to scouting events, etc. said any of these guys didn't compete. I also don't think Cal would recruit a kid that doesn't compete. These guys aren't confident, Cal screams constantly, and in the beginning of the year, without any returning veteran leadership, they don't have confidence but they're trying to do what coach is telling them, so they don't just react, they ahve to think through everything and it makes them look slow and soft.
