Pope has poor substitution patterns. We need to get Robinson off the ball at times and let him and Perry play together. It's like he just subs to be subbing at times. Struggles with seeing flow of the game. We were playing pretty good outside of Garrison trying to do too much. Should of subbed him out and went with a small lineup.

Let’s let Garrison keep throwing up prayers and let Oweh keep driving and missing layups. Pope has no answers tonight. Our players just can’t handle things when the other team gets in their grills. Two of our three 3’s were off long rebounds and not in our offense.
i expected them to, considering the team cal had starting at ark, compared to what pope started with at uk—nothing.

We have a bunch of players on the court who seem to not have a clue how to handle adversity. They seem like they are about ready to cry and walk off the court. As for Perry and Noah, they shouldn't be on the team. Nice kids, but simply not ready for this level of play.
Oh the offense will scheme guys open. That bs was told by some all summer. The offense is fun but at the end of the day you gotta have a dude who you can give the ball to and have shot creation. This roster has nobody close to that and every team knows that

And it wasn’t for lack of talent. The 2020 team had multiple NBA players on the team and they weren’t top 50.

We look like a tired dejected team. Pope needs to change something up and give these guys a break. And stop missing fricking layups when the other team can’t miss anything.
That is because he DOES. He tracks how much time each player can go before getting fatigued and subs based on that.
