Kentucky at Georgia (Saturday)

5th inning was the game...they produced with good fundamental bb plating men in scoring position. We didn't. That simple.

100 percent. We had a chance to score 1 or 2 more when we has runners in scoring positions with 0 outs and we failed to execute. UGA executed pretty much every time.

Tomorrow is huge. Lose tomorrow and you can probably kiss an NCAA bid goodbye.

Too early to say that, but with a 7-8 record (if we lose today) + next 15 SEC games much harder than first 15, would have to be a bit pessimistic myself.

As for the game last night, every time UGA bunted, I questioned the strategy, especially with a leadoff double, but they scored every damn time and won a 1 run game, so what do I know??

We need at least 7 more wins. Our two best chances of winning a series are today and next week against Alabama. If we win those then we still have to get 4 more wins with 4 series left. So, we either have to grab a series win from Florida, Tennessee, Vandy, or South Carolina; or we have to win one game against each of them.

So, if we don't win today that means that we have to make up that loss by either sweeping Alabama, or by taking a series against Bama and one of the last four. All while avoiding being swept.

It's possible, but the odds get real long if we lose today.
