Men's WTE Top 25: Where does 2025 champion Florida fall in the rankings?
Only 210 days until the 2025-26 season -- but Houston is already the favorite at the top.
Add Yates and JQ or Folguereis and I dare say the fear emanates.
That's not a lineup that's gonna lite it up from 3.Kentucky could be loaded on the perimeter next season, with the arrivals of transfers Jaland Lowe (Pitt) and Kam Williams (Tulane), as well as top-25 prospects Jasper Johnson and Acaden Lewis. That's on top of the potential returns of leading scorer Otega Oweh and rotation players Collin Chandler and Travis Perry. Mark Pope needs more options up front, but Monday's commitment from Alabama transfer Mouhamed Dioubate gives the Wildcats some toughness and versatility.
Projected starting lineup
Jaland Lowe (16.8 PPG at Pitt)
Jasper Johnson (No. 17 in ESPN 100)
Otega Oweh (16.2 PPG)
Mouhamed Dioubate (7.2 PPG at Alabama)
Brandon Garrison (5.9 PPG)
Some people over on hob were saying Yaxel took down all his Michigan stuff from his twitter today?Michigan fairly likely to lose Yaxel too, which could bump us to 5th before any other commits. I'm surprised to see BYU down at 16, I thought between Dybantsa and the success they had this year they'd get a top 10 ranking.
I'm glad I kept reading to the end because I learned that Texas Tech has a center next year named Federiko Federiko.
Yeah there's smoke around him now that he may be decommitting, or decided to go all in on the draft. I'm not even referring to those rumors so much as just the very strong possibility he ends up staying in the draft regardless. Some people over on hob were saying Yaxel took down all his Michigan stuff from his twitter today?
How is this possible? Half the idiots on this site have me believing our team sucks, Pope can't recruit and we will never make another final four![]()

The team 3 point percercentages in the national championship game were 25% and 24%. It's important, but not always the deciding factor. You need other ways to score, especially in these dome settings that are not shooter friendly. You need high energy guys. That's not a lineup that's gonna lite it up from 3.
You don't know that. That's not a lineup that's gonna lite it up from 3.

Common sense. Luckily we have shooters I'm just saying if don't like ESPNs projected lineup. You don't know that.
Lowe was always a pretty good shooter all through highschool and freshman year. I wouldn't write him off because of one forced season. Our fans didn't like the Butler add last season either. He shot almost 40% and he was never considered a good shooter. Lowe hasCommon sense. Luckily we have shooters I'm just saying if don't like ESPNs projected lineup.
Pope wants to shoot 35 3s a game. A starting lineup with Mo, Garrison isn't going to leave much open on the perimeter. Also Oweh is OK, but not a volume 3 shooter. Lowe also hasn't been good from 3. Those 4 together don't work on my opinion.
Again luckily I see us with a much better starting lineup and know we also aren't done. Chandler probably has earned a shot a starter year 2 especially if he makes a jump.
This way too early and we are ahead of other teams that are losing 7 plus players like we do.Kentucky could be loaded on the perimeter next season, with the arrivals of transfers Jaland Lowe (Pitt) and Kam Williams (Tulane), as well as top-25 prospects Jasper Johnson and Acaden Lewis. They must think the ACC is going to suck again next year.the dirty birds at third... hope that dont happen
Agree, im hopeful. Just want to have shooters out there. Hard to go from Brea, Jrob and even AA if in the corner to more unknowns. I'm hoping the Freshman are ready to go and Chandler takes a big step while Owehs shot improves from that hitch.Lowe was always a pretty good shooter all through highschool and freshman year. I wouldn't write him off because of one forced season. Our fans didn't like the Butler add last season either. He shot almost 40% and he was never considered a good shooter. Lowe has
The 2 freshmen guards can fill it up too
You only have 200 minutes of playing time in a game.Let’s see if add more pieces. We are at 11 scholarships now. I am still hoping we get one more SG and SF that can shoot from 3 and one extra PF. That will put us at 14. If we go 15 deep we could add another big or PG .
Makes no sense for Houston to be ranked #1.Hard for me to believe Houston would be #1 after losing Roberts and Cryer.
And 1 basketball. You only have 200 minutes of playing time in a game.
15 will cause a mass exit next year they will go where they can get minutes.
Sympathy vote?Makes no sense for Houston to be ranked #1.
Purdue looks a lot better on paper.
I think you’re solidly a top 5 team. Gotta remember a lot of the other teams are still going to add big pieces in the portal though. I think if you add an elite shooter you have to be in the conversation for preseason #1.With JQ how much do we rise in the early?
No mention of Moreno.Kentucky could be loaded on the perimeter next season, with the arrivals of transfers Jaland Lowe (Pitt) and Kam Williams (Tulane), as well as top-25 prospects Jasper Johnson and Acaden Lewis. Man last year there were so many crazy names in the portal. Doesn't seem to be as many this year.Michigan fairly likely to lose Yaxel too, which could bump us to 5th before any other commits.
