Kansas lands 4 star center then claims he's a 5 star

Doesn't every fan base go with which ever service ranks the kid the highest? I've seen it on every single board I've gone to. That's what fans do. Lazy media does it the same as well if they are reporting for a team they like/cover

Maybe his last name means Earthquake or his nickname is Tremor.

Us UK fans don't usually worry about 1 service. UK seldomly lands a 25th rated prospect Our guys are mostly top 15-20. Sometimes we sprinkle in some kids rated in the 30s and 40s. You may remember one of them. WCS of the Sacramento Kings. Most of us use the composite. He's a top level 4 star, congrats.

He looked raw, surprisingly plodding and alligator-armed in the video I can find. I note he has a wingspan shorter than Diallo's as measured in the same camps and Diallo is 6'5''. One site has him measured at 6'7'' without shoes. Kansas needs a body inside with Robinson falling through and the transfer not working out. He doesn't look like a guy who'll get serious minutes any time soon.
Found this, definitely not a plodder. Looks like a really solid big to me.

It's ok if other schools pick up a decent player from time to time.

This isnt the seismic news. Looks like a good strong athletic big. Good get for them.

Star rankings mean little in football and are totally meaningless in basketball. Ranking in the top 20 for the big boy schools and top 100 for everyone else is all that matters.

Why do these rogue Kansas fans show up here when so much is going on over at the gayhawk slant? Over/under arrests for Kansas players this yr? I'll go with 7 since they have the Lawson's who are already fitting in nicely at Kansas

Before clicking this thread, i'll admit i have never heard of this kid before. If the KU fans want to give the kid an extra star for recruiting bragging rights, go right ahead! You may add the extra star now, but once this kid joins the KU roster, the kid will have to play like one. If Self offered and accepted, i'm sure he saw something he liked and can work with. If the kid doesn't transfer after a couple of seasons, this kid might show enough to be in Self's rotation. With the way Self seems to offer any big with a pulse lately, who knows how talented this kid will be at KU?

Who's whipped your butt 2 times in a row....looking to crack that ass again this year. :)
Look little brother, Kansas has won 1 title in 30 years. That's right, I said ONE! Hell, UCONN has won as many as Kansas and who the hell considers them a Blueblood? So run along back to BFE and sit around your little circle jerk bragging about Kansas winning the lame arse Big 12 title year after year.

I think your point still stands, but technically it's 2 titles (don't give them an out). And UCONN has won more titles in that time frame than Kentucky, Kansas, UNC and anyone else save for Duke...so not sure I'd use them as an example against just KU being a blue blood.
