Kansas game

No, I'm not worried. The game is almost a month and a half away.

Some of you are like little girls. Have some pride.
Well said. I'll 'worry' about this game at the end of January. We have a lot of damn games before that. Just watch the team and hope they improve. We could still be about 17-3 headed into that game. Some of our 'fans' think we are going to drop every game between now and then and be 9-11 instead.

Always amazes me how poorly fans of the most successful program of all-time deal with adversity. What the hell would these do if they had to root for just a regular ol' Top 25 program?

Not worried about this team long term, because Cal knows how to get guys ready for March and we have some strong pieces once the weaknesses are ironed out...

However, comparing the KU results will once and for all demonstrate the lunacy of the guys who were taking last year's squad for granted and arguing that this team could be just as good.

This will be a key game. It's a good team, late in the season. We will know where we stand from that game. But, with that being said, right now they would handle us easily. We will need to take major strides to give them a game at the Phog.

If we win in Lawrence, KU fans will be devastated. If we lose, what do you expect when the game is in Lawrence?

It will mean a lot more for KU fans than it will for us.

A loss doesn't hurt our chances, but a win looks great on our resume. I can't really see any chance that this ends up being a bad loss for us. This game is going to be very good for UK, regardless of the outcome.

Blind Homerism with a dash of common sense.

This is a young team that will get better and better as they continue to practice together.

I live in KC and have tickets for that game. The Jayhawks will have their stingers out after last year's thumping. If KU continues to shoot 45% 3PT, it will be ugly. I will be in full gear. Frankly, it is easier for me to sit next to the screaming "UK sucks!" fan better than the smarmy "KU wins because we are just a big family" fan.

I couldn't have said this any better. Some of you posters here give up to easily. Remember the lsu game back in 96? Never say never and have some faith or gtfoh and go cheer for Louisville.

It's not giving up, it's reality. This team has more questions than the SAT. We have decent guards in Murray and Ulis, Brisoce? I can't figure him out, he plays lights out one minute then will make you throw your remote the next. Marcus Lee? good rebounder, average scorer but he reaches on defense and commits juvenile fouls. Skal? I think he just needs to get laid and things will work themselves out. Poythress? great guy, flashes of a great player but he turns the switch off and on too much. Matthews? needs to play more, Willis? needs to believe in himself and just play, Wynyard? needs to learn the offense and get stronger, Humphries? just keep working, he will be a player sooner than people think, Hawkins? should take a blood oath to never, ever, ever shoot another 3. Clank, back of the rim. Mulder? should be playing more. You just dont know which team will show up on any given night. I could see us losing very easily saturday as louisville will try to do what ucla and ohio state did by getting us down big early and holding us off. team of jekylls and hydes.
