It's just that last night KU needed every bit they could get out of Ellis/Selden/Graham/Mason. That leaves 1 spot to get in there and play. Lucas finished with 5 pts and 8 boards and Jamari Traylor posted 6 points and 4 boards. That helped make up for Mikkelson who just wasn't in his element in that game. So, KU's bench bigs combined for 11 points and 12 boards. In that game KU needed it's most experienced players to beat Oklahoma's best and most experienced players. I'd expect Cal to play our best players in games like that as well.
