Stoops has no apetite for working with inexperienced QBs. If 12 years here hasnt shown you that nothing will. With the portal now he doesnt have to. I bet money this Boley kid never starts a game here unless he is forced to start him due to injury

Wasn't that Vandergriff did the few times he got in at Geogria? Not many coaches develop QB'S during the season.

This season he played mop up in 4 games going 12-18 129 yds 2TDS. He was 5-7 46 yds 1 td vs UK

Not surprising to see Sheron looking to move on. I was actually told by someone close to both the Somerset HS program and the Sheron family that he would enter the portal last year. Guess Stoops and the staff convinced him to hang around one more year. Best of luck to the young man. Hope he lands somewhere he can play.

Someone I sit beside at the games with the same connections told me the same.

He probably should have hit the portal after Stoops sat him on the bench in favor of that Wade kid in the bowl game last year. Stoops literally threw a bowl game and ended up losing that, losing Sheron and losing the tree stump QB and his twin brother because of it anyway.

Not sure but since they are in transfer portal I was just wondering who is next should Leary go down?

Know it sounds crazy but portal guys are eligible to play in the bowl, a few did last year not only at UK but at other schools too.
