Just felt like Ky had no idea how to win, and played conservative

When we did get in scoring range. On the first field goal just felt like UK decided on a FG instead of aggressively trying to get 7.

If Boom had not gotten 12 on 3rd we may not of even got the 3. Then UK just seem to play for 3 even tho we got new life and 1st and goal.

I maybe wrong , but just seems like UK has no confidence in our QB to make the right decisions. So our coaching staff is trying to control what a QB should control on the field.

Sometimes you just gotta put the ball in your guys hand and let them at least try to make it happen. Way to much micro managing on offense.

I like our running backs, but you can't run up the middle with a 150 lb back against Florida's goal line D.

And never called a play action on first and goal from the 3. That speaks volumes about the confidence they have in our QB and the overly conservative mind set of our coach.

Dcs that was what I seen. Just no creativity in trying to get 6. Just seemed like the mind set was if we get lucky (like Boom running for 15 on a third and 12) running basic running plays and get in, then if not we are happy with .

Sorry if you play for 3 and you have less talent and are Ky, you will lose. Now you will stay in the game and have tons of moral victories. But aren't we tired and past moral victories?

The money and backing we are putting out for football now should make it clear to our staff we are all in and need them to be.

I don't like to put the blame on one play for the loss of a game, but in this case the dropped pass in the end zone was a 14 point swing. Kentucky gets 7 and Florida does not get a shot at the interception a couple of plays later. With the way the game played out, that was the difference in the game. No telling what would have happened with a young team had that play been made.

John I agree it would of made a difference. But we had chances after that. Our D gave us options and chances. And in my opinion we play scared, tight and not to lose.

I do not blame Towles for that. Football is played on emotion and confidence with some strategy and luck thrown in.
