Just copy Duke’s offense

loving the RPO, Davis would thrive on that. OL pushing downfield. Smart passes. They’ve looked good all year.

One difference is the UK OL actually gets holding called against them. On Duke's first big run on the outside, I thought the OT had a significant hold that allowed him to get to the outside. The Blue Devils have not had several calls that should've gone against them not called, which is surprising considering the game is in Tallahassee.

The line is FSU by 14. It's not surprising they're keeping Duke close because EITHER most of the money was on FSU, or the ACC is trying to make them both look good, or they personally have money on the game.

Dukes Oline are fun to watch. Smaller but athletic with great feet. They are artists up front the way they work the line.

I mean, they have averaged 21.5ppg in their 4 conference games this year...I hope we want a little better offense than that.

Duke produced less that 300 yds O including less than 100 yds passing vs F$U.
Yeah and thats all doing it the hard way Schwump. Nickle and Diming their way down the field using the run. Their Oline is really good, they just dont have any playmakers to make big plays if they did they'd be tough to handle. Again go back and watch them operate.

Duke is averaging one less point per game than UK's offense so far this year. Maybe Leary would be more productive running RPOs. Maybe. I still doubt two of our three main WRs would have fewer drops tho.

I prefer straight up blocking as well as it’s easier for linemen to grasp and not every OL is NFL quality. “Keep It Simple Stupid” is the best way to have consistency in college sports unless you’re a top 5-10 program that can continuously recruit the top tier out of highschool.

The Oregon offense back in the Mariota days is where I’d personally go. Spread RPO. You don’t have to go at warp speed but a mobile athlete at QB running RPO spread option concepts using the full width of the field….occasionally passing off the roll towards the boundary or field w a pitch option as a safety etc

If we're going to copy anything, especially considering our eyes towards the NFL, copy mike McDaniels. That offense is next level innovation. It takes some principles from the mcvay tree and turns them up another notch

Kentucky's offense scoring 33 PPG 6ths in the SEC 30th nationally. I would take that over Duke's 60th ranking.
I would rather copy Duke's defense, ranked 8th nationally in points allowed per game.
