So what's the inside story. I thought he was highly recruited and had a chance to play significant minutes this season.

Was recruited by some Power 5s, WVU, UK,UL etc..had the height and length you'd want in a potential OT...often injured, football passion questioned and he didn't have many gains in the weight room based on pics.

Significant minutes this season would've been based on a fans hope and optimism, not really anything else...missed large portions of spring if not all.

One state away and he's homesick? If he did live up to his potential and made it to the NFL, Lord forbid he get drafted by anyone besides Cleveland or Cincinnati. If that's the true story, I doubt he had the toughness to be a football player.

Really liked Josh when he committed to us. Unfortunately Josh had more than his share of injuries his entire UK career. Injury to injury this Spring I think did him in and he always seemed to be homesick. Hope he heals and gets his mind right. I wish him the best!
