Both he and his mother have said for almost a year now that they're not going to open the recruiting floodgates until they've squared him away academically so he can focus on recruiting when it's time. That said, UK is on his list of about 7 or 8 schools that he's been interested in.

How do you guys view his recruitment, and do you think Kentucky has any real chance of being a significant player in his process?

for a long long time many of the lead recruiting guys out there (meyer, etc) have all indicated that he would go the mudiay route.

Jackson was actually kicked out of a game this summer while sitting on the bench. That attitude and the possibility he might skip college certainly didn't scare many coaches away, including Cal, who closely watched him all summer.
