Our QBs better have big arms, or may need to throw the ball as soon as it’s in their hands. That kid can FLY!!!! We haven't had this kind of speed at the WR position EVER!!!
Can't wait to see him in Blue!!!
He won the 100m at the Nike HS nationals with a 10.21...I had read he was flashing good speed at the Bama/Missippippi high school game. Even at that, I didn't realize it was that kind of speed.
Now the question is Can he catch a football? That’s the speed dem Bama receivers have had! If you don’t have it your chasing it! A 6.7 60 meter is moving on down the road! lol
We need both! Now the question is Can he catch a football?
If so he’s a WR. If not he’s a DB
Brown has burst and size and Key has length and hands, but Anthony would seem to make sense on jet sweeps.Van Hiles believes he will see the field before Brown or Key .
Sounds like a perfect trio for our future.Brown has burst and size and Key has length and hands, but Anthony would seem to make sense on jet sweeps.
Just get the ball in Anthony's or White's hands via sweeps or short passes then sit back and enjoy. Just needs a tiny seam and they gone.
Actually, he was both shifty and fast…at least at OSU’s camp.IIRC, Dekel Crowdus isn’t exactly a turtle, either, right?
Wasn’t he elite fast as a recruit as well…or was he more shifty than fast?
Not sure what Crowdus 40 time is. Just know he is not only fast but like you said shifty and quick. Will be exciting to see him for the first time after being hurt this season.

Well it says he has the speed to take the top off the defense and that his speed and skill set would enable him to play on Sundays. Can take a short pass and blow by people so it looks like we have at least three guys like that.At the review from the OSU in the link above, he apparently post a 4.4ish time while being slightly injured.
Even if that is slightly exaggerated, that is blazing if he wasn’t 100%
I won’t crown him . . . but I bet Jordan could clean Stoops swimming pool pretty damn quickly!!Tae Tae Crumes can fly too and he is lucky to clean Stoops’s swimming pool. Let’s let the kid get here before you crown him.
Well...while Crumes was the fastest WR recruit with the classes of Cummings, Bryce Oliver, Allen Dailey, etc...he was in no world this kind of fast that you see with Jordan Anthony.Tae Tae Crumes can fly too and he is lucky to clean Stoops’s swimming pool. Now can Anthony play football....I don't know. But this is literally the type of speed that trains for future olympics. We've not seen that around here forever.
If there is a rival straight speed wise it’s probably LockeLocke?
Too many fries? This guy will be special if he can indeed catch a football. I just hope/pray that he doesn't turn out like that former UT Vols player, Leonard Scott. He had world-class, Olympics calibre speed but was known as "Grease-Fingers" Scott for a good reason.
