For our needs right now, I think Johnson is more important than Bamba. That is saying a lot, because we really need Bamba.

As one of the biggest fans of Cameron Johnson on this board, as much as a MASSIVE get he would be, Bamba would be a slightly better pickup, IMO.
Without Cam, I think Vanderbilt can take over the 3 more so than any big man could fill the void Bamba would leave by going somewhere else.
All assuming HD comes back, like he and Cal have vehemently assured us since the day he committed.
Thankfully, it doesn't look like we will have to make a choice between Cam and Bamba!
Either Cam or Bamba going elsewhere at this time, from what we know and have heard from everyone, would be one of the largest shocks in recruiting history, since I started following. Up there with Darius Rice or maybe even worse.
HD entering THIS year's draft as a none and done is in a similar category. The only reason there's still a "Will he or won't he" is to draw attention to his name way before the season starts and help his draft stock in 2018 because of this early exposure, IMO.
Quite possibly even Calipari's idea for Diallo to play the unsure game in order to help him next year. Cal is a genius and I wouldn't put it past him.

Good call. He would be more than a valuable piece of the puzzle next year. Experienced and a smooth shooter who can fill it up in an offense with other talent IMO
If Diallo comes back, Johnson and Bamba commit, I feel real good about next year
