Pittsburgh graduate transfer Cameron Johnson will start his official visit to Kentucky on Wednesday. Would be a big addition for the Cats.

We need some positives to think about after today's news regarding both UK basketball and football, been a very lousy day so far. Hope we can add both Johnson and Bamba to start things back on a more positive trend.
Firstly, the correct spelling of the word you used is 'eminent'. Secondly, the word you meant to use is 'imminent'.
Apparently Johnson is not only from the same hometown as Cal, but his dad has also known Coach Payne for the past 30 years. So, do you want your son to play for strangers or family? Typically family wins out and in this case I think it's safe to say that Johnson will be part of the BBN family soon!

It seems like this happened quick after the Diallo news to the NBA without agent. We really didn't hear much except that there was a lot of ties between Coach Cal and family and if Coach Cal wanted him that UK had a great shot getting Cam Johnson. With the Coach Cal in-home visit with Kevin Knox and then Diallo announcing to the NBA without hiring an agent this scheduled visit happened fast. Maybe Coach Cal knows more now on which way he thinks Knox is leaning and a possibility losing Diallo to the NBA got the ball rolling on Cam Johnson visit and to get him to transfer to UK asap! Arizona seems to be another player but they seem to have more guards with Alonzo Trier and Parker Jackson-Cartwright back and it looks like Alkins could return to go with transfer Dylan Smith from UNC-Asheville that averaged 15 points per game and another transfer Talbott Denny and two freshman guards. So it looks like we get Johnson here on Wednesday for his visit and Coach Cal work his magic and we could have Cam Johnson commit soon after the Visit!

Since this was the average if Diallo goes I don't understand you.We would have 3 other guards on our roster.Who would start at the 2 over him?
I just find it fascinating how Johnson who was the 3rd leading scorer on a bad Pitt team is now going to be our savior. I'm not sold on him, but I don't matter...
He's a fine player if you just watch him. I don't know what else to tell you. But having him is just objectively a much better situation for UK than not having him, whether you think he must be trash or not. Because the only 2s left are significantly worse and will need a lot of time to be able to play.
