Joe Lunardi now has UNC last team in

If they get an at large bid with (1) quad 1 win, then Trump needs to get Elon to start searching.

Funny thing, as soon a UNC won today he updated to put them first team out. He updated immediately after Ohio State lost and had them (UNC) last team in.
Texas already had 5 Quad 1 wins before beating Vandy in Nashville to give them 6. He still has them out.

Meanwhile UNC beats a horrible ND team 15-18 #99 dam near only a Quad 3 win but barely a Quad 2 as of now probably drop the 1 it's needs tomorrow to be a 3. So still only 1 Quad 1 win LMFAO.

Since NET has a 1 Quad win team ever got an at large???

Just as a point of comparison, our 2012-2013 team finished...

21-12 overall
12-6 in the SEC (4th place)
Final RPI: 59
Key Wins: Q1 - Ole Miss, Florida Q2 - Maryland, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Missouri

We did not make the NCAA Tournament and not a single soul on ESPN was bothered by it, nor did they try to talk us in. It wasn't even a consideration.

What's annoying about this is that if the NCAA tournament is a popularity contest then it is useless. You either get in on merit or you don't.

Every year Lunardi is ranked near the bottom of all of the people who do brackets and yet people on here continue to lose their minds about what he puts out there as if he is the NCAA committee and he decides who gets in and what seed they are.

The ACC is so bad if you are on the bubble this year from that conference that says all you need to know. Duke hasn’t played a ranked team in over 3 months. If you are worthy of a bid from the ACC you should only have 4 or 5 losses in conference.

In no way should UNC be in the field unless they win their conference tournament.

UNC is playing it's best right now. 1 more win and it's a no brainer.

I hate UNC with a passion but I gotta admit that they look pretty good right now. Having said that, they have played mostly the bottom of the ACC in recent weeks. The tournament committee has in recent years said it is about the "entire body of work." Using that standard, they are outside and should remain there.

They are 7-1 in their last 8 but those 7 wins are against teams with a combined record of 93-131. So are they playing great or is it just that their opponents are pure horse 💩? I'm taking the latter.
True but you can only beat whoever you play. Do you take a team that is beating bad teams or do you take a team that is losing to good teams?

Or do you take a good mid major who had one bad game and lost in their tournament? There are some good mid majors that will not get in and should over teams like UNC who have sucked all year long. They wouldn't have 20 wins if they didn't have 21 games against Tier 2-4 teams. Oh and 6 of those games were decided by 5 points or less. C'mon people they are 1-11 against Tier 1 teams. That is awful and would not get any team not named Duke or UNC in.

Ummm...a certain star player blew his knee out. That UK team was trash without him. We got the Cincinnati/Kenyon Martin treatment that year.

You take the teams who have shown they can actually beat other tournament teams. What are they, 1-11 in quad 1 games? That right there should keep them out, barring an ACCT championship.

I am not saying I think UNC should get in. I am just saying I can see why some think they will be.

They’re trying to justify them getting in because they’re rolling over everybody. Problem, the everybodys SUCK. You can bet they will do anything to get them in, but it’s hard to ignore 1-11 quad 1 record. Hope Wake Forest can find a pulse today and end the stupidity and BS.

The ONLY reason they would get it would be brand bias…..not even close to earning it. When the best part of your resume is “we lost to a ton of good teams” it’s a non-starter for me. You HAVE to actually beat somebody decent.

Fortunately Joey's bracket isn't official and means literally nothing.
You know they will do everything to try and get UNC in though. Whatever rational they have to use to make it happen. If they get in with one quad 1 win it will be a joke.
