Luke will graduate with a degree from Duke. That is the best option for his future going forward, and I don't blame him one bit for making the choice that he made.
I wish the kid the best, even if I will uncontrollably yell, "SWEEP THE LEG, JOHNNY!" every time he's in full view of my TV screen.
Luke Lennard.......Never heard of herwho is luke kennard?
He wasn't to big of a UK fan. Maybe his parents but not him. I think that story was fabricated a little bit.
Same fans that get on to Arkansas fans for Monk, trash him. I wish the best for him, but hope Duke loses every game by 30.
He made a bad choice and he will have to live with it. Doesn't make him an enemy.
To be fair, he's only played 3 college games to this point. Plenty of time left to make his mark.Haha! Poor Kennard.
Laying the ground work for a possible transfer?
Seriously, would UK take a transfer from duke and how would that sit with the BBN?
He's currently not starting at Duke, a team that isn't exactly full of scrubs. Pretty hard to duck competition for playing time if you go to Duke or Kentucky. Both squads are stacked with McDonalds AAs.My take is the kid didn't want to come here and compete or knew if he did he'd never see the floor.

They certainly looked better on Tuesday, that's for sure. But I'm going to withhold an overall assessment until we get a sample size bigger than 3 games.Based on what I saw, our burger boys are a lot better than yours.
Agree 100%It's just impossible for him to get good shots when the team has weak PG play. When Thornton comes of age, and he undoubtedly will, Luke's stats will certainly benefit. He just had no room to work against UK on Tuesday.

The whole transfer thing is ridiculous. Luke will eventually become a spot up, knock down shooter.
You're telling me BBN wouldn't like it if Kyrie Irving, Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor, or Justise Winslow wanted to transfer to Kentucky?how would BBN react if any Duke player wanted to transfer here.

I can say, without hesitation, that if a guy like Anthony Davis wanted to transfer to Duke, we would take him with open arms.I really
Don't know how the BBN would respond, hence the question. I have never even considered it happening B4 today. On the flip wonder how the dukies would respond if it was flipped?

Honestly, the only school where a transfer might give Duke fans some pause would be UNC. That's just my opinion, obviously.
Haha, well what wouldn't!?!I have no idea exactly how the BBN would respond, but I believe a duke transfer here would start long contentious thread(s)in the rafters.
Some of you guys sound like the Arkansas fans talking about Monk. The kid and his family made what they thought was the best decision for his future. They probably made the right decision because I don't see him cracking into our rotation this year or next. It's a win/win situation...we were able to get Murray and Luke is able to get minutes at Duke. Go Cats!!!
well what wouldn't!?!
He only got to play 14 minutes in his third collegiate game. Just saying.Didn't see much of him to make me think he's better than what we got.
He should get of his smartphone and watch where he's going then.
