Andrew Wiggins was just named the NBA Rookie-of-the-Year. Good for him.
Andrew Wiggins went to college where his mother wanted him to go -- Kansas -- instead of to Kentucky.
In Wiggins' one and only season of college basketball, Kansas lost 10 regular-season games, and only won one (1) game in the NCAA tournament before losing to Stanford in their second game of the tournament.
Andrew Wiggins -- Rookie-of-the-Year in the NBA -- got to play in only ONE NCAA Tournament game, and had to play in ten (10) losses during the regular season ! ! ! At the same time, Julius Randle and James Young -- in their one and only season in college ball -- led the U.K. Wildcats to five (5) NCAA Tournament wins and the National Championship Game.
Now, I realize that Kansas is not Michigan. But Michigan is a whole lot closer to being "like Kansas" than they are to being "like Kentucky."
WHY would Jaylen put himself through something like that by going to Michigan? Come to U.K., Jaylen -- and play for NATIONAL Championships, and not just Big 10 championships.
I'm just sayin' ...
Go 'Cats ! ! !
