We hate Jay Williams, Bill Raftery, Jay Bilas, Jimmy Dykes, Billy Packer, Clark Kellogg, Dick Vitale, Digger Phelps, Brent Musberger, Brad Nessler, Seth Davis, Joe Lunardi, and Jim Nantz.
Murray is a tournament player that HATES to lose, Ulis wants to prove he can lead this team to a title and Poythress is a beast on the boards in March. We're gonna make a run.

I don't think anyone hates Jay Williams, but he said that TAMU was far and away the best team in the SEC, and that we had "no chance" of winning at USCjr. If you are going to deal in those kinds of absolutes, expect to be called out.
All three game day so called experts dogged us out with every loss and had us wrote off after the LSU game.
A&M he did say, regarding the USC game he is the only one that morning to pick UK, Greenberg, and Bilas picked the Gamecocks. He deserves credit for that !

Yes, Jay certainly did taunt UK fans a few times this year by saying aTm was the best team in the SEC. He made sure he said it during every gameday…. Until aTm went in their slide.

Jay is just now getting over the butthurt of seeing his Dookies have their collective arses handed to them by UK early this season.
One thing you can say about this comment from Jay Williams- you know he believes it if he said it. He's certainly not one to tell the BBN what they want to hear just to butter us up. He doesn't hesitate to take a jab when given the opportunity. So, high praise like this from him does mean he at least believes it's true.
Vandy should be tough Saturday. I'm expecting the typical SEC homer officiating to give them a +10 edge out of the gate.

In all seriousness. I wish Walton would call one of our games. I watch whatever game he broadcasts no matter what and how bad the teams playing are. Watched him call a Pepperdine, gonzaga game a couple weeks ago at 1 AM just because he was an announcer for it. Best in the biz IMO. Guy makes basketball funny. Far and away the best announcer on ESPN.

It's supposed to be entertaining. If it gives you an out of body experience where you do things you wouldn't normally do or say, that says a lot about you.

Stuff like this makes me wonder if you really understand how far beyond our rivalries most of these guys are.
All of these guys do this for a living. They all know, work with, and are friendly with a WIDE range of coaches and players at schools other than the one they graduated from. They have meals with guys from other schools, shoot the breeze with guys from other schools, talk about personal matters with guys from other schools.
Sure, they'll joke about rivalries and that sort of thing on the air, but in reality they are beyond it, in the same way that you wouldn't really care if a coworker you spent years working with and with whom you had a good relationship went to Louisville or Alabama or whatever.
If our guards come out shooting 50%fg and 35%+3fg, Kentucky will be hard to beat. Most of our losses are because of some officiating BS. No road games in the tournament, so every team is going to have to beat Kentucky straight up.
