I normally don't have a lot of sources (I did first report the Alex Poythress surgery 2 years ago though )

But I do business all over the US and have a meeting with a company in Louisiana next week. My counterpart down in Louisiana, who is a huge LSU fan, was talking about Cal being down there to visit Javonte Smart and that it's widely known that he is a CAT unless something major happens.

Of course anything can happen with teenagers, but my counterpart is extremely confident that he is going to UK. Last visit pretty much sealed the deal (it was already essentially sealed before). My counterpart is holding out hope that LSU's new coach can somehow change Smart's mind, but it is believed that LSU's new coach is way behind and won't be able to beat out the love affair with U.K.

Sounds like we are going to take 2 top pg as we won't get a top SG which isn't an issue

Will two top PG's commit if Green is still here? I know things can change and players that weren't thought to be one and done can become just that, but it appears we may keep a lot of players from next years team. How would that impact recruiting for the 2018 class?

I just don't see 2 top level PG's coming with Green and SGA probably coming back. Now I can see one coming and being able to slide to the 2 some but I can't see both Smart and Quickley being here. We'll wait and see
