In recent days Virginia Tech has reached out to Ja'Quize Cross and for the duration of the season Mississippi State's coaching staff has been trying to convince the New Market (Ala.) Buckhorn defensive tackle to visit Starkville. Cross told me last night that, until now, he's resisted. He hasn't visited with the Bulldogs. He said he doesn't think he will.
