Murray coming to Lexington
The biggest event in the AAU world next weekend will be in Lexington,
which hosts the Nike EYBL circuit for the first time, April 24-26.
The EYBL includes many of the top players from the recruiting classes
of 2016 and 2017, as well as most of UK's priority targets in those
classes.
A player of more immediate interest to UK - Canadian guard Jamal
Murray - is also expected to play in the event as part of the CIA Bounce
club.
Murray was the MVP of last weekend's Nike Hoop Summit and is
considering a move to the class of 2015, which would allow him to play
college basketball next season. UK and Duke are among the many schools
that would be interested in adding him to their recruiting class.
The Nike EYBL series will be played at the Kentucky Basketball Academy, and all games are open to the public.
