After all the hub-bub with Humphries arrival in Lexington over the weekend, no news yet on Murray's arrival.

Interesting though that after only sending out 10 tweets between April and the end of July, Jamal has suddenly sent out 5 tweets in the last day. None of them mentioning UK or traveling though. He had a couple of UK fans ask him when he's coming to Lexington with no response from him yet.

Wondering if this is a tease. When do classes start?

Reading between the lines I'd say he's probably not coming. He actually just found out that Hugh Jass is gone and that was apparently a deal breaker. My source tells me that Murray sees an opportunity in Louisville to be kind of an understudy to Trey Lewis, redshirt this season, then back up Quentin Snider next year, and take over the year after as an RS Sophomore. Louisville fans aren't sure if he'll be a good fit, they say he's not quite the playmaker that they look for in their system, but they are willing to at least give him a look. Remember that Mulder was reportedly very underwhelming in pick up games during his visit. Seeing that Murray may be a tier below Mulder in the athleticism department, there are certainly doubts among the Cardinal fanbase that he would be able to meet the physical requirements to make what is already a loaded roster of future NBA talent.

I found a scrap of paper lying on the ground. On the top it read, Contrarian Playbook Fall 2015. Here is what was written...

1. Jamal hasn't been cleared. Push forward this fact but don't mention the reality that no one has been cleared yet, on any program.

2. Skal hasn't been cleared. It's easily recognizable that he likely will receive some NCAA investigative blowback before he's cleared (emphasis this point whenever you see joy from the UK fan base....HAMMER is home).

3. Remind UK fans that the players don't have to be here; that they could actually build their brand successfully overseas if they chose. They don't care about pleasing our fans. Our fans need to recognize this fact. Bring up the word "selfish" in connection to any fan who desires any details about Skal or Murray's orientation to the UK program.

Yeah - I can always count on Rafters to remind me I'm not as smart as I think I am, which Is probably a good thing.

Also, the point of this thread wasn't to stir concern about Murray not coming, it was "Jamal's on his way, I'm excited about it, let's look out for first confirmation of his arrival." Kind of evoking the spirit of the Cal door watch, when we knew Cal was about to accept the UK job. On of the most exciting days of my fandom.
