Can we get one of you smart guys to make a thread for just the portal guys that UK has made contact with and/ or is interested in bringing in? I think it would make it a lot easier and more condensed.
In my opinion, what you’re overlooking here in bucsrule’s hypothetical lineup is Lendeborg and Folgueiras. I’m not sure there will be a better PF in college next season than either of these two, and bucsrule is theorizing UK gets both. Only Calipari would think about giving freshman Caleb Wilson any time over either one of these guys. Actually, that would be a joke or probably worse, it might generate a point-shaving investigation. I would take issue with bucsrule’s starting lineup, however. With those players, Garrison would not be starting. The starting frontcourt would be Lendeborg and Folgueiras. Combine those two with the rest of that hypothetical team and on paper (e.g., assuming no chemistry issues, etc.) UK is indeed stacked.
Yes doesn't always mean they pan out we can see from years past.
I think he played on a team that needed him to be a scorer, so he took way more shots than he needed to. So probably a best player in a crap team scenario, which would explain the poor shooting.
Yeah, if true I'm not surprised really. You'd have to sell Lendeborg and Folgueiras on starting together because both are too good in my opinion to come in knowing they're very possibly a backup (even though Pope wants to play 2nd unit guys a ton of minutes). I think they would be a great starting frontcourt together, but still even assuming the money etc. is right I imagine it's not easy to sell that vision to two top PFs.
