Jai Lucas to Miami…

He was considered that because he can't coach/is a major disappointment regarding player development. The Lucas name from his family got him a rep he doesn't possess in terms of player development and Duke moving on from him is going to strengthen them. We'll see who they hire but I'd assume their recruiting will improve. Nobody they've gotten while he's been there is a result of him being a strong recruiter. The kids they landed they'd have landed if Wojo was still on their Staff. LOL

I don't feel anyone on the Duke staff can develop players. Since Scheyer took over they've had more guys regress than develop.

He has never ran a program before, there are really good coaches that would do well at Miami. I doubt this is true.

Sleepers guys are saying Jai is leaving DUKE at the end of this regular season. So, leaving BEFORE the ACCT and NCAAT. If so, I hope this impacts Duke in the NCAAT! Also, suggest that the Boozer twins are a package deal with Lucas.

He could have been the Robin to Patterson's Batman. I guess Jai saw right through Billy G and made the decision to go to Florida.
