Slow day so why not go back in history. We all know about Cawood and Claude and some even know about Earl Borgman but do you remember Jack Lorri? He was the UK football and basketball announcer for Lexington's WLAP in the early 1960's. He left Lexington and went on to Notre Dame working for Jim Host broadcasting.

If you listened to or know about this one you are a true radio listening historian.

I think it was Earl Boardman. I played football with his son Barry.

I remember Earl Boardman, there was another announcer I believe that was on the Aetna-Ashland network I can't recall the name right now. I think later he became president of Keeneland Race Track.

I wonder if he has any of the old Adolph Rupp interviews. Those are priceless to some of us. His daddy was a great radio man

I haven't talked to Barry since High School 1975. We played at Tates Creek so there's a chance he still lives in Lexington. Might want to find him on Facebook and reach out. He was a great guy and I'm sure he would have access to some info for you.
