Cignetti said the department worked hard early in the process to tie Cignetti down to his latest deal, which carries an average annual value of $8 million per year and includes an annual $1 million retention bonus. The new contract, which runs through Nov. 30, 2032, carries a fully guaranteed value of $72 million, not including bonuses and performance-related incentives.
