It's gonna be awhile, but Dajuan Wagner's son looks like the real deal. (Played for Cal.)

Dajuan Wagner son of Milt Wagner has a son who looks like he is going to be a big deal down the road and by the look of the pic, his dad is still a Cal fan. He played for him at Memphis and I am guessing this is the guy Cal always refers to when he talks about not holding kids back because you never know what could happen. He only played one year in the pros I believe due to a rare disease. It's going to be a while before this kid is ready, but you have to think if Cal is still here that this kid would be a cat. Talk about good breeding. His grandpa was a stud too.

Milt had one of the great quotes of all time. They were playing Drexel in the tournament and somebody asked what he knew about Drexel. "Not much except that they are one of those academic schools."

Interesting. Gotta make Cal feel old as hell
Makes me feel old as hell. First thought - Milt Wagner is somebody’s grandpa!?!

Straight to the league.
Yep. Given his pedigree, how Dad and Gramps turned out, this doesn’t figure to be on earth of those ‘kid developed early and wasn’t that good in the end’. He’ll never play a minute of college ball.

I have no idea where the kid will be ranked in 4 years and it’s a long time between now and then. If he’s rated extremely high, it might not even matter because he will be able to go pro, but IF he is rated high enough but not too high to go straight to the league, I’d be surprised if he went anywhere other than Kentucky given what I’ve read about Wagner and Cal’s relationship. They’ve always been tight and Cal still loves him like he played for him for 10 years. I’d like our chances.

If he is half as good as his grandpa or father he is going straight to the NBA. One and done will be over with by the time he graduates from high school.

Dang..I am getting old..I watched Milt Wagner play at UL. I watched Dajuan on the AAU circuit and ALL-Star games and while at Memphis. Now I see where Milt has a GRANDSON that can ball..
You think it makes you feel old because you remember Milt at UofL. How old does it make me feel considering the fact that I remember Milt as a high school recruit.

Jeez, it doesn't seem all that long ago that I couldn't believe Milt Wagner's son was a big time player, and now we're talking about his GRANDSON?

This makes me feel old.

I do as well, at least his Senior year of HS. He was part of the Camden, NJ connection, with Billy Thompson and Kevin Walls.
