We are headed to Nashville in a little bit. We haven't seen a win the SEC since Tampa. Hopefully we see one tonight. I didn't buy books this year. Just bought tonight's session. I'll have to scramble up Friday night tickets if we win tonight. Good problem to have though.
Only time we went was the last one in Tampa, our last win- hopefully UK fans show up and give us the home court advantage because we are going to need it- go Cats !!!
I am less stressed about this SEC tournament than I have in past years for some reason. I think our seed is cemented in the NCAA. I don't have a ton of confidence we can win 4 games in 4 days with a short bench so I am just going to enjoy what we can do and turn to the big dance.
It will be Eruption Zone II this weekend. Hope the players are fired up because The Blue Haze was already taking over the games last night. Kentucky people just love to watch and critique basketball games.
Me too, I honestly think going far in the NCAA will be easier than winning the SEC. Mainly because it’s like a final 4 level game 3 games in a row. Without Jax that is a monumental task. I think we could be hot 2 days in the tourney though and with the quick turnaround that second game teams will have their hands full preparing to stop our offense. SEC teams have a lot of knowledge and tape on us in addition to already playing us. I’d still love to win it though.

Moore was on fire last night too. UGA played their butts off to keep that game close.
Cats win tonight. Oweh has 22, Carr 17/10, Butler with 14/6, Brea has 12, Amari with a 10/10/7 type game. Garrison/Chandler/Noah/ Perry chip in with 18 points and Cats win 93-82.
This is some advice I was to give everyone.....myself included. When teams play the night before against a team yet to play in a tournament, they almost always seem to start out strong. Hopefully we can all remember that the first 5-7 minutes of the game tonight.
Yes. In the 2nd round we have to play Bama, who at worst is a 2 seed in the big tourney.
As a probable 3 seed, we would be playing a 6 seed in the 2nd round

Lots of CHALK today in the various conference tournaments, as it has come to be so far. I'm quietly confident we will hit our mark and make our assignments against OU.
