Is there a limit to how many Smith's you can have on the roster? The AL OL, Selm, - when are we expecting his LOI? He looks like a multi-year starter in the future to me.

So we are waiting on Patterson, Robinson, Mizell, Selm, Nichols and Rodriguez. Nichols makes me a little nervous, really need him like the others. Hopefully we get the GA LB today also. Would be huge to our season.
Seems we cornered the market on Dingles too.
Kauwe is in the Pacific time zone I believe. he may still be in bed.

The staff has done a good job with this HS recruiting class. However, to show what we're up against, the class is ranked #26 here on Rivals, #11 in the SEC. It's #12 in the SEC in terms of average star rating per player.
Our portal additions have been excellent, though, and those don't factor into the above rankings. When all is said and done, we'll probably be top 10 when it comes to the portal. I know some other sites rank portal additions, but I wish there was somewhere that did a combined ranking of HS + portal signings.

Read that Devin Smith is way underrated. It said to not let the 3 stars fool you, because he was on a lot of big name schools that would have loved to have him.
FWIW, CBS Sports had our class at #24 this morning before LOIs started rolling in. If Daniels flips to UK, might be a bump of a couple of spots. Overall, top 25 class of HS recruits added to several highly sought after transfers should mean UK will be solid, if not spectacular, next year. Another couple of OL and maybe another LB would bolster what should be a very competitive roster.
I'll start to gaf about rankings when being top 5 guarantees you 5-6 SEC wins per year. Love our Wildcats and am excited about this class and this coming year.
Dumas Johnson has announced for UK, so there's some great news. Hopefully more before the day is out
247sports does a combined ranking that includes both HS recruits and transfers.
As of right now, we’re 25th in the nation.
Farmer just announced he's transferring to UK - very nice pickup. Not sure if he's an OG or OT but definitely a transfer to a position group that needs some shoring up. Portal has, once again, been a huge friend to the Big Blue.
