It all comes down to Butler. If he's playing at a high level again, we win.
Am I wrong for being overly confident about tonight? At the end of the day it's Tennessee Basketball and Rick Barnes......
I hope we play loose and free, come out with the same plan as the first two games. I would like to see a Bama type game plan. 3’s and layups only. Draw fouls. Shut Zeigler down because he is the head of the snake. Bomb away from 3 early and often. We can shoot with the best of the, outside Alabama. Play to our strengths. Play defense like we have been and rebound. Most importantly leave it all on the court. It’s all we can ask.
Me too, I want this team another week. A huge win tonight is the cherry on the Sundae. An improbable win on Sunday would be Bananas 🍌 . Just the opportunity to play for a final 4 again would be so so sweet. We all love this team, and staff so much, they deserve it for as much as they went thru this season. They have overcome so much.
You know it man. I don’t want this season to end. And Coach getting a Final Four in season one would be an amazing cherry.
Even an Elite 8 would FR. I’m craving a final 4 but I’ll take what I can get. Deep year honestly for Elite teams. SEC was brutal. All the injures and stuff an E8 would be sick. I wil have the what if tonight if we lose, or the why did we have to lose the one that counts against UT but they are a very good team. We have done very well and this team overcame and brought joy to us all. I will be proud regardless. Just go out and leave it on the court. All I can ask for.

There are several things Kentucky has to do tonight to win this game. Butler, Oweh and Amari have to stay out of foul trouble, we need some scoring from Carr and Almonor too. I have faith in Brea that he will do fine, they can't keep him down the whole game, Trent has to give us positive moments when he's in the game. Travis has got to be steady and not turn the ball over and to score when the opportunity is there. Our players know we can win this game and to just go out and execute our game plan, because we are going to get their best shot. There is more pressure on Barnes and Tennessee than on us. Kentucky has been to the sweet sixteen 45 times and Tennessee 7 times, tradition is on our side. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
