Towns won some 3 point contests. So your mileage on that may vary.
That said, the idea that Briscoe isn't a scorer is pretty ignorant. In the Nike EYBL last year, he went for over 18 ppg, including over 21 ppg in the Peach Jam (for the best team in the EYBL). That was one of the better averages for anyone playing in those events, which are generally the toughest competition you'll find in AAU ball. Briscoe's not a jumpshooter per se, but he can shoot, and he uses his size to get to the line at a really high rate. In terms of scoring, he's probably the best PG UK's brought in since Brandon Knight.
