Is UL actually good?

picked this from that other rivals board—ten sec teams aren’t any good—they’re just ‘ranked ‘ 🙄

dumbest thing i’ve read today but the day is young:

“The SEC IMO is just a bunch of ranked teams. About 3 really legit teams like Auburn and 10 other teams that are just 'ranked' Ohio State is terrible and cleaned Kentuckys clock.”

ACC is garbage behind Duke. UL is descent, but not as good as their record indicates.

Had a friend send me a video of the “great crowd” at the game yesterday. Entire upper was empty. Fans still don’t care. They must know.

They’ve certainly improved since the Pryor injury when they very easily could have gone backwards.

That said, the ACC is embarrassingly bad. Louisville has beaten ONE ranked team, and that was Indiana (LOL) when they were still living on their unwarranted preseason ranking. And the Cards have ZERO remaining games against ranked teams. So yeah… color me unimpressed.
And UL had IU’s playbook-allegedly

Can't stand em but UofL is much improved. They'll probably be favored in every game left on their schedule. They'll likely drop one somewhere but shouldn't. I consider them a dangerous team come tourney time.

I know the ACC is hot garbage this year. But, after starting the season 6-5 (with all five losses coming to ranked teams) UL has won 10 in a row.

They are ranked 24 in the Net and KenPom and their schedule is pretty easy the rest of the way. They may end up with a regular season record of 24-7

So, are they actually good or does the ACC suck that bad?
Hard to say. Their best win is Clemson and then WVU and SMU.

They’ve beaten almost no one.

They havent played a ranked team since Dec 2. They play 9-12 GA Tech saturday. They are def better than last year (how could they not be), but every top 20 team they play they lose by average of 18 pts (if you take out Indiana, who was a joke of a top 20 team preseason)

The last time I looked we are top 20.

UK 93-85.

Duke is top 5.

Duke 76-65.

I think they are figuring it out and finally got a good coach. But can anyone tell me why they were wearing silver uniforms with zero red and black on them their last game?

They have improved and if you remember, they gave us a game when we played. I really wouldn't want to play them right now or in the tournament. I'm too old for that. I was in New Orleans for the Final Four where we played them. I think my voice is still raspy from screaming. I can't stand UL, and most of their fans, but this team has gotten hot.
