and he was no more a racist than any other white guy in America his age. There weren't many D1 schools that integrated any faster than UK. It's just us that gets the rap because of Rupp's prominence in the news, his amazing success on the court and the Texas Western game.

I live about 15 miles from Jaylen Brown. People keep asking why Michigan? Well his family is from Michigan. They are not Georgians. Just like I am a UK fan because my father was a Kentuckian and he grounded it in me from birth even though I was born in Florida.

That is the only real reason Michigan is being mentioned. His family loves Michigan, it is their "home". Georgia is just the place they are living right now.

I was born and spent the first 19 years of my life in Michigan..have a brother and sister who still live in Michigan along with several cousins and other relatives. That being said I'm not sure how anyone that ever was able to leave Michigan would ever willingly want to go back. (Except just for a visit in the 60 or so days of summer they have.)

I passed through Michigan on a truck and we didn't stop . I understand it is a hell hole but Jaylon Brown is on record he and his family love it and it is their home. I don't know if he will end up there but they are in the conversation I want him at Kentucky
