Several players have said the ball is different and some have even suggested that it has to be gripped differently when shooting, passing and rebounding.

We ALL want to see teams score in this thing and it seems like the shooting has been below normal this weekend. So why not have ALL teams use the SAME ball for ALL games during the season, including the tournament???

Apparently the Wilson is the NCAA’s official ball that all are encouraged to use all the time. But some schools still choose to use a different ball during the regular season for a very familiar reason: money

KSR did a great article on this a couple years ago. It's on YouTube, basically everybody shoots worse with it.

It’s bouncy for sure has seems to be a hard ball

Biggest issue is they use a new ball every game. A brand new ball is always terrible and feels awful.

Wow what a lucky shot. Then Florida’s was half way down
