Is The SEC Fine Worth 10 Minutes Of Glory

If I'm a student and it's looking like there might be a court storming, I am covering masked in oil and belly sliding across the floor at full sprint.

If you're going to storm the court, might as well bring some lightning.

lulz.

If UK fans ever rushes the field at the Swamp, there will be a lot of UK fans with cracked heads and spending the night in jail.

Florida might be able to pay the mortgage this year.

The joke is on you, pal. If you read the post, I wrote that if Kentucky beats Florida, especially at home; that is Commonwealth Stadium, they would rush the field. Once again, "Mr. Facts" tries to correct someone, and instead embarrasses himself. I cannot believe that I had to spell that out.

@MJWilliamson is an arrogant dumbass.

Bad combo.

Afflicts a large % of the UF fanbase... most of whom have never been on the UF campus.

Yes it can. So can driving to the game. It's kids having fun. It's happened for years.

I wonder exactly how many have actually gotten seriously injured by court stormers.

In another recent debate on this same topic, another poster and I basically concluded that serious injuries are rare. In his mind, the risk was acceptable due to the rarity and, in my mind, the risk was unacceptable.

Eventually, the practice will stop IF there are some serious injuries and major lawsuits. Face it, 99% of the fans storming the court do it in a controlled manner and do no harm. For me, it is that 1% that I worry about.

This is what I was going to say. Shows how bad your program is when you rush the floor after beating a team not in the top 10.

We are more than #14, we ARE college basketball, we are KENTUCKY !

As already posted, if we beat Alabama in football, if they are ranked at all (and we are not), I would expect (& not be critical) our fans to do the same.
Also keep in mind, most of those rushing are college kids, a bit less controlled than most adults.

No one was injured because the students didn't rush it like a bunch of lunatics. But it was a good move for Cal to get your guys in the locker room.

We will happily write the check. And hopefully as the talent level rises, we will get our program to a point where someone beating us inspires them to rush the court now and then.

In the end, it's kids having fun and being excited. Who cares? Write the check.
Yo only say this because you are not the one actually writing the check !!

I guess that's where we differ. I'm not worried about that 1% possibility at all.

Well, one could interpret it either way, with how it was written. Plus, the game is in the Swamp this year.
