Is that it for Kentucky? Or do we get both Briscoe and Humphries in 2nd

Briscoe, no. Hump, doubtful, but possibly at tail end of 2nd round. If I'm wrong about Briscoe, so be it. I'm not bashing.

Briscoe will get a free agent contract somewhere and have a chance to make a team somewhere but it will be hard. I can see him being brought in as a defensive type stopper along the lines of Liggins or Keith Bogans, but he will never be an NBA starter.

Liggins is tall and long. Can guard 1-3. Bogans could score from everywhere too. Briscoe can pass and drive. Ok rebounder

neither got drafted
i am going to guess IH goes home and plays
IB will either go D-league or overseas

i think DH and DW goes overseas
i think at some point DW will play in the NBA

DW will never play in the nba, darius miller played 2 years on a non playoff team and barely got minutes and then went overseas and he's way better than Willis

Briscoe might have known he wasn't getting drafted . It didn't really matter he made the decision quick . He just probably was tired of school and playing as an undersized SF

Hard to understand Briscoes decision and actions along the way.

Apparently he didn't like school. I want to know who convinced him he would be drafted after EVERYONE else in the basketball world told him he wouldn't?
He was gonna leave no matter what. It is what it is. Wish him the best but I doubt he ever plays in the league other than summer league or training camps.
Hard nosed and tough but lacks the athleticism or shooting imo.

Full disclosure, I'm glad Briscoe is gone. Dude had a bad attitude and wanted to leave as soon as he got on campus.

He did not like school

He got tired of being recruited over

He was never gonna play PG here

He had a bad attitude.

I wish him the best as I do all the kids that wear the U.K. Shirt, but once they leave, I do not follow them.

Likely he was tired of being recruited over and playing out of position for a 3rd year. He wanted to be a one and done, rolled the dice and came back and it didn't improve anything. He is what he is. He's not growing and even if he doesn't make the league, he can go overseas and make a pretty decent living.

Where are all the people who were guaranteeing Briscoe would be drafted by some team in the 2nd round? That was always a pipe dream.

There was a chance he would have been our point this year. He would At least got significant minutes at the 1 this season. He still has a chance. Kyrie Irving isn't that athletic either. Nor James Harden.. He just needed to improve his shot several magnitudes. Not impossible but not likely either.

Briscoe should be 20 or 21 years old now. His window to make money playing basketball is about 10 yrs. If that is his goal then he probably did the right thing even if that means going to D-league, China, Australia, or wherever.

He is not getting taller/longer or more athletic, so his only opportunity for improvement is shooting. He could come back for his junior and senior year then he would just be a 23 yr old in the same position and would have lost 2 yrs of professional basketball salary.

The only reason for a kid determined to play professional basketball to return to school is if think feel confident they can significantly could improve their draft position. That is pretty rare, unless the player was just getting limited minutes behind a star and will see an increased role the next year.

I'd say all three (IB, IH, DW) will catch on with a summer league team. If they perform well they may get FA contract and go to the D-League. Otherwise it will be overseas to make a little money. I would honestly think IH is in the best shape since he can go home and play in Australia.

Funny thing is they still follow and care about uk after they leave. That's why they 8thh matter and you don't to Kentucky's success over the years.

He probably left because he got tired of being drug through the crap on this board after every game for days.

I know when I'm making major life decisions I go to message boards and base my decisions off of random nobodies with a keyboard.

Young people today are on social media constantly. IF you think they don't read/hear about the crap that is said on this board then you are further behind the times than I am.
